This blog entry is a painting progress update. From this point on, I would prefer to only show images of work-in-progress or details. I would like for the rest of final compositions to be revealed in their entirety at the final exhibition.

The following are some images of progress and details on the painting, "The Climb Above Sam Orr's Pond." This is a 36 x 48" oil on canvas painting depicting the sunset light being cast on the rocky hillside along the trail above Sam Orr's Pond when my wife, daughter and I explored the  Caughey-Taylor Nature Preserve. You can visit the blog entry describing our adventure here.

I have recently had the opportunity to visit the Pickerel Pond Nature Preserve and the MacNichol-Orser Conservation Easement. Expect those blog entries next!
